Richard graduated from Bristol University in 2005. He joined the practice in 2007 and took over as Principal Dentist in 2019. Richard enjoys the diversity of treatments that general practice provides and the rapport that General Practice provides and the rapport that he has established with his patients over the years. His main interest is dentures and he is extensively experienced in this area. He finds it rewarding to be able to give patients their smile back without the price tag of dental implants. He is also a well respected and longstanding Educational Supervisor for young dentists and supports them as they develop their career pathways.

Outside of work, Richard is married to Alex and they have two children together. He is a great cook and an avid Wales rugby fan. Weekends are focused on family time and he particularly enjoys watching his son play football for his local team.
